This is Dan's Model 1 Drop Point featuring a satin hollow-ground blade of hi-tech PD-1 Tool Steel with a gorgeous handle made of Presentation Grade Desert Ironwood with Brass pins, thin black liners and a Brass lanyard hole. Includes kydex horizontal RH sheath - one of the best belt sheaths in the knife business. PD-1 is a high-tech, micro-melt steel made in the USA by Carpenter and is very similar to CPM-3V in wear performance and toughness. I.e., this is a super-hard steel.
